Pure Births offers immediate and extended newborn and postpartum care
Pure Birth Midwifes will perform a thorough newborn exam after your baby is born. Immediately following the birth of your baby is the most important time to explore and bond with your newborn.
Pure Births encourages family bonding also known as the “family-bed,” immediately after birth. Pure Births has a wonderul team of postpartum specialists who can offer you additional in home support during the immediate weeks postpartum.
We understand that this precious time cannot be replaced, and we honor and protect this time. The newborn exam will be done right next to just you, or just beside you in your bed within a few hours after birth. We want your baby to be in your arms and encourage skin to skin contact as much as possible. Unless it is medically necessary, we will not interrupt these precious moments.
