WE ARE NOW ACCEPTING MEDI-CAL FOR BIRTH CENTER BIRTHS!

We strive to support Los Angeles families that are low-income and support communities that have traditionally faced the greatest barriers to Midwifery Care.

We are now contracted with LA Care to provide more women with optimal Midwifery care and BIRTH CENTER BIRTHS!

Pure Births will provide you with access to Midwifery led prenatal care, Labor & delivery at our birthing center, along with postpartum care.

If you have ever wanted to experience a waterbirth, now you can!

• Too many families believe they cannot choose a licensed midwife because they can’t find a MediCal provider.

• Some simply aren’t aware that Midwifery care is an option for their family.

• Women who want alternatives to hospital births should have them available.

• Women whose births are paid for by Medi-Cal should have the same choices as women with private insurance.

• Almost half the babies born in California each year are born to Medi-Cal recipients.

  We do not at this time. We do offer birth center births, and will happily help you discover what your Medi-Cal plan covers.
