We do not accept HMO/PPO insurance plans, however we have an excellent insurance biller that will work with you to be reimbursed after your birth. Most PPO, HMO and cost sharing insurance plans will cover a portion of your prenatal care, labor & delivery and postpartum care, depending on your deductible.

Do you offer HOMEBIRTHS for Medi-cal recipients?
We do not at this time. We do offer birth center births, and will happily help you discover what your Medi-Cal plan covers.

With the optimal care and support, the majority of women can achieve a natural birth. Women, who are educated and knowledgeable about birth, have proper nutritional support and take the time to find caregivers who are professionals in normal birth have a lesser probability of needing medical interventions.
Birthing women have the right to be treated with respect, dignity, and feel empowered to make choices to have a safe and supported birth. No matter where or how a woman births the support and care she receives should remain woman-centered, respectful, and full of love.

In the US, 71% of women choose to have some type of epidural anesthesia pain relief during labor (Stanford Medicine, 2017). Most of the time, epidural anesthesia is not medically necessary. It is chosen by mothers who do not want to experience the pain that comes with childbirth, or it’s been suggested to get an epidural. Epidurals are also used when a woman is not progressing, or they have hit their threshold for labor pain and ask for it.
